Keep Clean Ireland – Cleaning Booking Terms & Code of Conduct
1. General Conduct
To ensure a safe, respectful, and efficient cleaning experience, all students are expected to follow the guidelines below:
- The room must be vacated during the scheduled Light Clean + Linen Change service.
- Personal items should be stored away to allow full access for cleaning.
- Smoking, vaping, or consuming illegal substances during the cleaning is strictly prohibited.
- Cleaners must be treated with respect and courtesy at all times.
- If access is not provided at the agreed time, the service will be marked as completed (no-show) and charged in full.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. Please review our updated cancellation and rescheduling policy:
- Free cancellation: at least 48 hours before the scheduled service.
- Late cancellation: please contact us directly at contact@keepcleanireland.ie.
- Same-day cancellation or no access provided: 100% of the service fee will be charged.
- Rescheduling: allowed up to 48 hours before the booking, with no additional charge. Please contact us to arrange a new time by email at contact@keepcleanireland.ie.
3. Access to the Room
- Our cleaning team will only enter the room at the scheduled time.
- If the student is not present, written authorization (via email or property management) is required to access the room.
- Keep Clean Ireland is not responsible for personal belongings or valuables left visible in the room.
4. Service Scope – Light Clean
This service includes:
- Light cleaning of all accessible surfaces.
- Bin emptying and replacement of liners.
- Basic bathroom refresh (wipe-down of sink, mirror, taps and drain).
- Light vacuuming or floor sweep.
Please note:
- The service does not include deep cleaning, furniture moving, or removal of large waste.
- Stain removal, heavy descaling, or carpet cleaning are considered additional services.
- Damages caused by misuse or neglect are the student’s responsibility.
5. Health, Safety & Staff Training
- All cleaning staff are trained and certified in Manual Handling and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
- Products and equipment used are compliant with Irish health and safety regulations.
- Our priority is to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both students and staff.
6. Feedback & Quality Control
We encourage feedback to help us maintain high standards of service. Students may receive a short feedback form after the cleaning to share comments or suggestions.
7. Privacy Policy
- Personal data collected (name, contact, room number, booking details) will be used only for booking and communication purposes.
- Keep Clean Ireland does not share personal information with third parties.
- By booking this service, you consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with our privacy policy.
8. Authorization for Room Access
By confirming a cleaning booking, the student authorizes Keep Clean Ireland and its cleaning staff to enter their assigned room at the scheduled date and time to carry out the service, even in their absence. This authorization aligns with accommodation management policies and can be withdrawn only in writing before the scheduled service.
